Will Lau, a native of Hong Kong, began his yoga practice in 2002. He started studying under Andrey Lappa, the founder of Universal Yoga®, in 2008 and completed the 500-Hour Five-Module Universal Yoga Teacher Certification in 2011. Since 2012, he has been co-instructing Universal Yoga TTC (Teacher Training Course) alongside the founder.

In 2023, he was authorized by Master Lappa as the only Chinese instructor worldwide to independently deliver the 400-Hour Teacher Training Program covering the first four modules of Universal Yoga. His professional standing is second only to Master Lappa himself and the senior-most instructor of the system (who holds the Five-Module certification).

Meanwhile, Will Lau is also the founder of MANI YOGA—one of China’s most prominent yoga brands based in Shanghai.
